The Wright Start Preschool

Tanna Moller started The Wright Start Preschool and licensed childcare in 2017 in her hometown of Monticello, Illinois. It is family group DCFS licensed daycare for ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Tanna holds an Illinois teaching license in special education and an early childhood letter of approval in 1994 from Illinois State University. She also holds an ECE credential level 5 for early childhood education. She embraces a learning environment that will prepare children for life. The focus is on independence, social- emotional growth, communication skills and gaining real life experiences. Tanna works closely with parents and our local community to create a network of services to provide high-quality experiences and education. The classroom has various learning approaches to promote skill development through hands-on activities and experiences. Visiting teachers offer weekly classes in yoga, pottery, and crafts. Learning happens outside the classroom as well. Weekly field trips taken in our 15 passenger van give my students experiences they will never forget. Weekly visits to local parks and gymnastics class at Kleen Movement is also incorporated. Tanna also offers before and after school childcare for school aged children.
